As you may (or may not) already know, on Sunday 25th of October the first Central Coast Martial Arts and Fitness Expo was on at Mingara. The expo was a showcase of martial arts clubs, fitness professionals and various other fitness related organisations - and a few reptiles as well (literally). The expo was organised and run by the good folk over at Zen Jitsu Kai, who should be extremely proud of what they managed to achieve with the day going off very smoothly and being enjoyable for everyone that was involved. Despite the poor weather there was a reasonably good turnout for this first event on the Central Coast. ![]() Throughout the day there were some impressive demonstrations put on by the various stall holders which included clubs from the Central Coast and abroad. The line-up included the likes of: - Black Belt Martial Arts - Tactical Modular Systems - Yendor Massage - Central Coast Hapkido - East Coast Taekwondo Academy - ProFit Boxing - Judo NSW - Millennium Health Club - Munen Muso Martial Arts Studio - 3rd Avenue Dance and Fitness - Zen Jitsu Kai Martial Arts - Mingara One - One Martial Arts - Go Ju Jutsu Mixed Martial Arts - Rebel Sport - Black Gi Martial Arts (and Supplies) - Buritz Gymnastics and Kindergym The expo was a great way to show the strength and diversity of martial arts on the Central Coast and we can't wait for the next one. Throughout the day we managed to corner a few martial artists from various styles for interviews. We will be publishing these over the next few weeks so stay tuned. Comments
