What do eat after training?

Just wondering what you eat after a training session or class?

Especially when you've already had dinner and got home late, around 9:15pm.

I'm sure there's something I should be eating to replace the energy lost or to help rebuild etc.

I like the Sanitarium 'Up and Goes' and the Chocolate flavoured soya milk single serves. I also will take on board some of the low fat 'Musashi' bars, and you can't go past a small fruit salad with some yoghurt and muesli. These things, eaten in moderation can still feel like a treat and do a great job in 'filling the gap', but are also low in fat and sugars so you don't have to feel guilty. They are not to heavy to go to bed with either. I also love a really cold orange, at the moment they are fantastic.
All the best.

I don't much like training after eating anything substantial (e.g. dinner) so most of the time we end up having dinner afterwards which can be quite late (not good, I know). But if you have already had a decent meal before training there shouldn't really be much need to eat again just because you've trained. There is of course some things that might need replacing - for my money fruit is the way to go.
Now slightly more bruised than before.

I tend to eat as much protein fulled food as I can after training/throughout the day. There is a very good site on nutritional advice but I'm not sure if I am allow to post the link.

Yep, post away... as long as it's nothing "inappropriate" there's no reason why you can't post anything on here...
