building a weapons rack

Between Kelly and myself we have a reasonable amount of weapons for training etc. As our spare room has started becoming basically a dedicated martial arts room and a lot of the weapons were just laying on the floor I decided to have a go at building my own weapons rack to help tidy them up... I searched around before jumping in to see what was available and there wasn't really any wall mounted vertical racks that I could find. The free standing equivalent seemed to be very expensive (from $60-$120).

It was surprisingly easy to build even for me (which is surprising given my lack of woodworking skills) and I think they've come up look at least as good as any store bought dealies.

It's all worked out pretty good (for a first try especially).... they've been successfully holding weapons for a while now. Next job will be a horizontal sword rack.

Those sticks are just a couple of cheapies we picked up on ebay.
